Attraction
Tucson is home of the world-famous Biosphere2, the largest self-sustaining eco system ever built. The Biosphere2 is one of the most fascinating manmade attractions, as it is essentially a giant bubble in which scientists and researchers live and work for months at a time.
The Pima Air and Space Museum, the largest Air and Space Museum in the West, is also located in Tucson. The Museum features the Challenger Learning Center, a walking tour of the hangar exhibits and a narrated tour of the outside aircraft for the true spacecraft enthusiast.
Combine Pima’s Air and Space Museum, with Tucson’s botanical gardens and Biosphere2, shopping and resort life, add historical tours of days gone by for those history enthusiasts and you’ll find that Tucson has something for everyone. It is almost guaranteed that one walks away feeling a connection to the past from it’s history and a feeling of promise for the future from it’s scientific endeavors.
